When you composing a photograph, even through viewfinder nor the camera LCD screen, try to always thinking before press the shutter. Don’t let the simply elements ruin whole photo. Some disturbing elements that can be fixed by photoshop, indeed. But like the quote “ preventive is more good”. Here some simply mistakes when take a picture :
1. Avoid The unsightly objects
Before you press the shutter button, make sure there’re no disturbing elements in photo frame, such as : trashes,some people who walk in the background, and etc. There are some mistakes of photo that you can fix through photoshop or lightroom , but more easy to avoid it before press the shutter button. Trashes in picture bellow for example , it’seasy to avoid with move the vie angle or find the other spot where’s no trashes stuck. Erasing the trashes through photoshop? Of course you can but need more times and make sure that you’ve been mastering the photoshop.
2. Be Careful with Cable and Line
Line is the strong elements of composition because it’s very catchy for people eyes. That’s why appearance of disturbing line in photo can ruin whole photo. For example there are two photos below. First photo should be beautiful but there are 2 iron cables that cross and ruin whole photo. Second photo, the umbrella girl become not beautiful because one of her eyes covered by umbrella pole.
Only need to think just a little bit more to avoid the photos above.
3. Tilt Horizon
Except you deliberate to make tilt horizon for artistic need , try to make the horizontal line is horizontal in photo. The tilt Horizon make some people think that there’re something wrong on your photo.
But don’t worry you can fix it using photoshop.
4. Be careful with Body parts of other People
When we shoot , watch out the edge of frame , so there are no body parts of other people that exist in the frame. Likewise when you decide to crop the body parts of photo subject, do it carefully. Here the simply guides which are the body parts that you sould’t crop . Avoid cropping the picture on the body parts that is marked by red color.
