Photography Tips : 6 Camera Angles or Points of View that You Must Know
The word "Angle" is very general and familiar for beginner. But most of them didn't know the right position from every angles in rule of photography. The Angle types in photography , they are:
1. Eye Level
This is the netral camera angle or we can just call it the Normal Angle. The height of camera must be parallel with the targeted subject/object. If we shoot people, the body part that we can use to be benchmark is on their head, more spesific at eyes area.
2. The Bird's-Eye View
The photo which is taken from this angle will show the angle of view from the height. It's mean that we shoot from the high place, for example is the city view ( high building, sreet activity, and crowd of vehicles)
3. High Angle
This angle have similar characteristic like The Bird's-Eye View which is shoot the object from the high place. But this angle is not so high like The Bird's-Eye View. If we use it to shoot people, the height of camera have to higher that their head. So the head position will looks more rounded big and the body looks smaller until the feet like tapered.
4. Low Angle
This angle is the opposite from High angle. The angle of view is lower and if we use to shoot people, the height of camera postition must lower that their head postion. The photo result that using this angle also the opposite from the High Level which is bigger in feet rea and smaller from the body until head.
5. Frog Eye Angle
This angle have similar Characteristic with low Angle. The angle view is lower but the level is more extreme which is the camera almost touching the ground. So, when you use this angle sometimes you must prone while shooting the subject/object.
6. Canted Angle
We can call it Oblique Angle, tilt the angle view to get very unique photo.
