5 Reasons Why Photo is Yet to become Sharp
It was so many questions about why photo that you
shoot until now is still not sharp like you want. In order to make photo
always sharp, the important thing that you must know the resons of blurred
photo.

In Logically and based on practices, the reasons why
photo is still not sharp or blurred can be determine by 5 things bellow. Just for
assumption, assume that we now use the fixed lens f/1.8
1. Need More Fast Shutter Speed
The important thing when you holding camera is don’t use
shutter speed more slow better than 1/ focal length. So when you shootusing
lens 50mm, you should use the shutter speed 1/60 or more fast, and you must
holding it in very stable.
More length the focal length of lens, more fast the
shutter speed that we have to use. When using lens 200mm, at least you have
to use 1/250 seconds. Telephoto Lens is
not only zooming the object, it also mke blur more visible. IS and VR lens also
helping.
2. Attention for Moving Object
The rule number 1 above is for shooting motionless
object and the photographer is also idle, but if we shoot the car at teh street
or flying bird or we are moving when we
shoot, of course we only need fixed 1/focal length the photo is still not looks so
sharp.

3. Shooting the Wide Open
Shooting with lens 50mm f/1.8 push us to use biggest aperture
in f/1.8. The problem is the weakness of lens is hard to get super sharp photo
in the biggest aperture. This isn’t mean that you must always shoot in sweet
spot lens like f/4, but at least lower the operture just a little. When use
lens f/1.8, try using aperture f/2 or f/2.8.
If you want sharp photo in aperture f/1.8 you need
lens f/1.2 or f/1.4, so buy the lens in f/0.95 .
4. High ISO
Shooting with very high ISO have risk to produce more
high noises . Even the camera now, especially expensive class is more
sophisticated in hiding the noise i the high ISO 3200, but noise is noise.
Except you use adnaced camera, noise will looks when we force use high ISO. And
the noise caused the photo deatil looks unsharp and reduce the sharpness
overall.
5. Lighting
There’s sharp that really sharp and there’s sharp
because looks sharp. Looks sharp when we shoot in the right contrast, in sweet dark
– bright object and it all need good quality lighting. Try to shoot in flat
lighting dan less contrast, so the phto is look unsharp. Technically it can be
sharp, but visually looks usual and not so sharp. So find the condition where
our photo have good contrast definition.
