5 Camera Settings That have to Check before you Shoot

      Do you have experiences like this ?
•    You’ve just back from photoshoot event and then you realize that the size of all your photographs is too small
•    You’ve just done to shoot and realize that you set ISO 1600 in all along photoshoot process even though you just need ISO 200 at the daylight.
•    You’ve just realized that you use white balance setting from cloudy. Even though from the beginning , photoshoot was in the room with the neon light.

     The basic mistakes like that make us to do more photo correction, if just one it doesn’t matter , but how if there are a hundreds photo that need correction? Even all we can do with photoshop, but it will be great if we avoid the mistakes like that from beginning photoshoot process, isn’t it?
Basically, there are 5 digital camera setting that you have to check before the finger press the shutter button at first in a photoshoot session, let’s figure out one by one:

1. Check your White Balance Setting

Use your white balance setting suitable with the condition, or if you believe with camera, set your white balance in auto position. Read more about white balance here.

2. Turn On the Highlight Warning of Camera


       The effective tips to avoid the photo from overexposed. Highlight warning is the sign that appears in LCD screen in your camera when there are photo parts that was burned or overexposed. Beside using Highlight warning,you can also check the Histogram in your camera LSD. Read more about Histogram here.

3. Check ISO Setting

       ISO Setting determine how sensitive camera censor toward light, more high the numbers , the camera more sensitive. If last night you shoot your Friend birthday party in restaurant, of course the ISO that you used last night is different with ISO setting when we use to shoot people running in the morning. 4. Check the Size and Image format


      When you Shoot  hundreds of thousands photographs at once, for example when you hunting in the zoo. Of course you need the others setting of size and format, because it’s different when we shot in the studio, moreover if your memory card have different capacity. And don’t forget to changes again the size setting if you do the different photoshoot. Choose the right format photo ( JPG or RAW) before photoshoot begin.

5. Check Exposure Setting

        In Digital SLR or Pocket camera usually  there are available some choices for exposure mode that you can take such as : Manual – Aperture Priority – Shutter Priority- Program Mode and some preset built in digital camera.
