Allright, lets figure out with simply.
Understanding white Balance
White balance is  important aspect in photography world and take effect on final photo result. The reason why we need to understand about white balance is because we want the color of our photo is accurate. So, white balance take effect toward photo color.
Let’s see the pictures bellow :

    A                                                  B                                                C

There are 3  identic photos, moreover they are from one photo. I just change white balance setting and the result : They are different in colors. Photo A looks so deep blue, photo B looks normal color and Photo C looks so yellows.
Look at the light color of neon and  bulb lamp,  it’s different. It because each neon and bulb lamp have different color temperature. The yellow light (bulb) called warm , meanwhile the blue light (neon) called cold.
The reason why camera need white balance setting is because we shoot in the  fluctuate lighting conditions. Our naked eyes are the super advanced tool and capable to adaptation (balancing) toward the changing of light colors, so the white paper in everywhere will looks white for us. But the camera isn’t so advanced like our eyes, because the white paper isn’t always looks so  white for camera in different lighting colors.
Therefore the purpose of white balance setting is to command camera to recognize temperature of the light source that is available. In order to make white looks like white, red looks like red and green looks like green, or with  the other words so that camera records object colors accurately in any lighting condition.
